Convertible Top

Post by jimbo946 »

Just wanted to let the Das Volks family know that I recently had a new top installed on my 1970 VW Ghia. The install was done at Moonlighting auto Tops in Bohemia. My rear window actually latches and stays latched. (Those of you who own Convertible Ghias probably understand this). He also did the seats in my 1980 VW Scirocco. Seat Foam is no longer available for this car. Pete Cut and shaped the foam from scratch. Another excellent job. As good as the job was on the my cars, it was just as good dealing with the owner, Pete. He did an excellent job. when I bought my car to Pete, He had just finished a Ghia and had 2 others being done along with mine. All were getting new tops. One of them was also getting a full interior. He has also done work on Beetles and had a couple there also. Fair, Honest, and excellent on the price.. He does Carpet, seats, Tops, Vinyl Tops (Over Hard Tops), Convertibles, cabriolets, and more.
