NOS Wizemann tool steel lifters from "Western Germany".
As some know there's a serious problem with cheap lifters that don't last more than a few thousand miles without pitting. This is due to the inferior quality steel they are using. With proper "cam breakin" and using a oil with high levels of ZDDP this can be minimized but not eliminated.
Wizemann lifters are the real deal and will have none of these problems. I have a set in my 2180 and even had them "Parkerized" which is a process that treats the lifter face with a coating that even further reduces lifter wear. I should be able to get 80,000 miles on a set and then put them in another engine without having to get them reground.

So if you see a set for sale... grab them, I did.
