Ya gotta love it! Anything to take advantage of the system. Although I must say i've filled a white Tyvec suit with newspaper and placed it im my passenger seat to use the HOV lane once or twice, JK.
Best is lifted trucks with handicapped plates or placards.

When did being obese count as handicap! Had a uncle who was is WWII. Had no hands one eye and one functioning ear. He refused a handicap placard. "There are people who need them" he would say. Maybe if fat ass walked from the corner of the lot they would be better off.

Only with his blind dog lucky by his side!
Still Monkeying Around. Not afraid to tell you how I really feel.
Re: Disabled parking violations
Yup he drove! With the shifter on the column he could put it in gear, he had a hook on right side, where your hand should be. He could steer with the stump on the left hand. I remember he got a new datsun/Nissan pickup. Had automatic trans with shifter in the floor but he could depress the button with his knee and pull shifter back with hook. He taught my mom and most of her siblings, including my older sister how to drive! He used to mow his own lawn with a push mower! Great man.
