Thanks, it's a bit sparse. But very livable. It's quite a feelng to come home to your own house. It still makes me smile each time.

Got mine 29 years ago and paid it off in 11 years. My advice is to do as much work yourself on it and pay off your mortgage as fast as you can.

Then save the money you used to dump into the mortgage to finance college and other major family expenses.

Things are going reasonably well. We are pretty much setup and semi comfortable. Trying to decide where to start cleaning/painting/remodeling. Gotta get the most bang for the buck we can on our new limited budget.
