[on soapbox]
Don't care who you vote for, but its your OBLIGATION to vote.
Don't assume your vote doesn't count.
You owe it to all of those that gave their lives defending your right to vote.

What do you all use as a measure of the candidateS? Don't follow politics so don't want to make a uninformed decision. Is there a good web site to look at?

Raj, if you haven't been following and need a website to summarize the issues then (respectfully) you're already lost.
Tomorrow is the summation of years of issues, none of which can be boiled down to a page, or article that will make you fully understand where any one party or individual stands in relation to your beliefs and needs.
I DO NOT want this thread to become an argument and debate page.
If you have a source to help Raj please post it, if it is politically charged - meaning not neutral - please PM him.
Thanks guys.
See you at the polls.

I think Newsday has a listing.
But it's already a bit late to start researching.
Agreed.... this is not about politics, but about civic responsibilities.

If you like what we've got and think more of the same is good, keep 'em. If you don't like what we've got, vote 'em out.

I took the strategy of voting for my candidate on a alternate party line.
For example, if they're running on a republican/democrat line and a working party/green party line I voted for the working party/green party.
I wanna let the major parties that i'm not happy with them.

Couldn't agree more, hence why I think voters should vote when they feel confident in what the candidates views/ stances are. Not going by names, gender, TV commercial, or what their freinds are doing. Hence why I don't normally vote. Along the same token..... Nor do I bitch about polictics, taxes, yadda yadda yadda.

Late, last minute but done.
I think I've only missed voting twice in my life.
