Question for all you VW Historians!! One of the guys i work with was asking when the water cooled Vanagan first was available.

It's spelled Vanagon.

...so Glenn, why didn't YOU say 82. The question was when the watercooled Vanagon first was available....
You said 84.
Gasoline, as Mike said, was available in 83...and 82 if you bought diesel (and yes, of course there were no aircooled diesels...duh).
