Covid-19 testing

Post by Glenn »

Deb and I got tested today to ensure we don't have it so we can spend a week at the grandkids.

We called the NYS number today at 10:00am and got a 1:00pm appointment today. We went to Jones Beach and there was only 1 car ahead of us. 10 minutes later we were done. It will be about 5 days to get the results.

And no cost.

I haven't been tested yet, I guess I should. Thankfully no one in my family has caught it. I'm actually surprised considering Gem is working with the Covid patients. I only know 2 people personally that got it and thankfully they're both ok.

Glenn, what's the phone # and that for Nassau only? I'm on the wrong side of the border again :-)

Rob... it's New York State, so you're good. Just not use about Tom.

You need to register first and then they call you back. Or you can call them 888-364-3065

About a month and a half a go my company tested me in house. This time they said I was on my own to get tested until they figure out a plan. I made an appoint mention sat night and I went to the immediate care place on sunrise highway by my house at 7am on sunday morning I was the only person in the place. They said 2 weeks for results. Looks like once a month my company wants to test. Sounds like jones beach is a good option glenn. That was fast results.
