Oil in fuel?? 1600 dual port

Post by murphree11 »

Knew I had an oil leak and finally got a chance to pull the cover back and investigate. Checked the oil level and it was way over full. Drained almost a gallon of oil/fuel mix. Just changed the mechanical fuel pump this fall because it was leaking and fuel was in the oil.
Does this have something to do with the carb?

That much fuel has to be the pump again.

New aftermarket pumps are poor quality.

What fuel pump are you using?

update:
Tony in Massapequa is looking at it. He said that the fuel pump stand had a crack and also that a vent line near the front suspension was kinked and creating too much fuel pressure.
