Congrats Glenn. The event seemed to get a bit more media play this year. I saw/heard about it on 2 media outlets on sunday.

Another year has past and we're still "cycling for survival".

Things have not been good for Sue. She's has a regrowth which has impaired he speech and motor skills. She has problems forming sentences and finding words. It makes it very difficult to talk on the phone. She has problems writing and reading so email and texts are out. She's pretty much shut in and has 24x7 care.

Last year after having a stomach tumor removed, my mother had a tumor in each lung. One was treated with radiation and the other with surgery.

My cousin found a lump in her breast at which time she was diagnosed with breast and lung cancer. 6 months later they found a tumor in her other breast.

Finally my future daughter-in-law, Jamie, had her father pass away from a 6 year fight with brain cancer.

It's been a bad year.....

Saturday March 5th, will be my 4th year at Cycle for Survival. This year not only will Jamie be riding again ,but Stacy and Toby will be joining. We hope to raise more than we did last year and i'm asking for your help to achieve that goal.

Donating is easy, just go to http://www.iride4sue.org go down to the bottom and click on my name. You will be directed to my MSKCC webpage where you can use a credit card to make a donation. 100% of every penny raised goes directly to research. Not one cent is used for salaries, promotion or advertising. Your donation is also tax deductible.

Thank you for your support and hopefully, one day I will not have to do this.

Thanks for the support.

Unfortunately, Cycle for Survival will not help Sue, but it will help others.

I've passed my $2500 goal and $3000.

There's still plenty of time.

As an incentive, whoever makes the largest donation, i'll give them the opportunity to pick from the "GRAB BAG of POINTS".

The event is just one week away and today we passed the $20,000. It's not too late to donate..

100% of your donation will be researching cures for rare cancers in just 6 months.

With great sadness, Sue passed away this morning. She was surrounded by family and her 5 year battle with brain cancer is over.

But there are others out there still fighting, so please say a prayer for her and continue your support so in the future the war against cancer will be won.

Starting to make plans for this year's event... it will be my 5th year. And the first year without Sue.

Every year we made custom shirts but they were nothing special and only worn once. So i decided to do something special this year. Real cycling jerseys that can be worn all year long and help promote the event.

We hope to surpass last years total of $25,000.

So i've officially started fund raising.

Last year our team raise $25,000 and we hope to beat that.

Donations are tax deductible and 100% of ever dollar goes to research.
