got the passenger side done today total brain fart on how todo it. i tried lowering the rear control arm instead of jacking it up. tried to get 2 flats down on the torsion bar but all it did was lift the whole car till it rolled off the jack stands. Image so i went for 1 flat and that was schetchy as well. but it went from 9 1/2 inches to 11 in the rear which makes it even with the front. stopped by the local locksmith and got 2 keys made he had the blanks in stock

anyone have pics of where to mount a tach ? im thinking where the speaker goes but would rather not cut the dash

got the drivers side done today 1 notch down Image before Image after . raising it up softend the suspension alot used to feel every bump in the road now not so much

put the tach in today Image going into the speakers spot. made a template out of cardboard Image then copied it to some 20 gauge sheet metal Image and cleaned up the hole Image

got it all fitted Image then powder coated flat black Image cut out the croos piece while it was baking Image got it all in place and made a simple C clamp to hold it in placeImage Image and will wire it up tomorrow

well i spent all day today rolling 83.5lbs of coin. Image looks like a set of new wheels in my future.

You know you can take them to a bank that has a change counting machine....

When you take the rolls ,they're gonna open them up and put them in a machine to verify the amount anyway.

they charge 10 percent for the change machine or if you put $100 bucks into an account its free. my bank accepts rolled coin for free so im saving the 10 percent charge. im thinking of getting the Empi 8 spoke wheels anyone ever use them or hear of problems with them?

My Credit Union has a free machine for customers and they have rates higher than commercial banks on all accounts.

im thinking of doing the TD bank and putting a 100 into an account for the free service but there machines recently failed an field test and were ripping people off so im gonna do a little research

I'm in a Credit Union but interest rates now are a joke, you're better off spending it before it depreciates. On vintage VW's of course !
