So, 2:30am, 400 miles from home, 350 miles from nc, the camper decides to die. Thankfully Gemma kept me from jumping off a bridge and I figured out the problem. Number 3 spark plug decided to pop out. And when it did it took the temperature sensor with it. Everything's fixed running fine now.... Just entered NC

Define 'popped' out? Was it loose and just backed out, or took the threads with it?

It must have backed out. I was able to screw it back in tight. Sure thing on the radio

2nd time in about 3 months this has happened on the right side. Bad gaskets, or something else to look at? I replaced it today and put a thin bead of sealant behind it to see if that helps any.

Ok, dealt with the oil leak, changed the pop top seal, replaced the headlights (You were right, Mike, the new ones are MUCH better) and replaced the antenna.
Not a bad day at the office.
Only down is one of the cheap plastic headlight rings cracked when I put it back on, so no eye lids until the new chrome ones I ordered come in. I bought the headlights with the little city lights in them. I'll wire those up to the ignition on when I replace the rings

No, Tom. Just gonna make it functional again. For the most part I'm done doing anything pretty with this one.

So what, my bus isn't good enough then?
Tony's gonna clean it up and paint some stuff. Replaced pretty much everything plus the clutch. Saw it today, it's a minor miracle it lasted as long as it did.

I'll make sure to keep my powdered tin's with me, until your engine is reassembled and in your bus! LOL

Tins painted and on, things are coming together. Couple of lonely sage campers in the parking lot.

Glad they had a manual handy, since the torque specs on a Type 4 is different than a Type 1.
It's better to refresh your memory than you rely on..... what were we talking about?

Looking good Rob! Glad to see the guys at GT getting some practice in before my engine arrives! Lol
Really though, I'm excited to see it back and runnninf nice and happy. It never ceases to amaze me how in-sync our mechanical failures are/have been through the years.

Anyone else find it funny that the manual has a green cover?
