so i thought i would bang out the frame head in 1 day got my ass handed to me all day long.

2 hours to remove PO rigging. 1 hour searching for things that were 3 feet away. 1 hour back andforth to the hardware store. then finally get the frame head jigged up and my mig dont work.

switch crapped out (kids dont try this at home) so i made the necessary repair and got it welded

ithink im gonna wait till next weekend to remove the old frame head so i have 2 days just in case

Looking awesome! Wish I had your ambition......tools...space...time.....SKILL!! Your switch fix is something I'd do, strong work!! I'm in east northport, if u even need a hand or someone to drink beer and say mmmmhhh, i have three kids so the excuse to run out for a few hrs is usually welcome.

I'm interested in why you are replacing the framehead, was it rusted out, I couldn't see that in the photo's.

I actually saw Varnish recently at the Rocco's feast in Glen Cove. He still had the bettle, and we just shooting the $hit. He looked good and Def was in a better place.

yeah this car probably should have been crushed. but i wanted to build a bug and had no money.i sold a transmission i had in the garage for the last 25 years for $1100 found the car for $350 used the rest of the money on pans and heater channels. the car has a factory rebuilt engine that runs, has the regi . im a mechanic by trade so the labor is free and i need something to keep me busy. im only using money from things i sell in my garage so it although the price is climbing its all free money for me

wow new mig welder in 3 days it took them more than a week to send me 2 cans of primer

Nice. Any idea who actually makes the welder for Eastwood?
I'm curious to see how you like it and how it performs.
