so i thought i would bang out the frame head in 1 day got my ass handed to me all day long. Image 2 hours to remove PO rigging. 1 hour searching for things that were 3 feet away. 1 hour back andforth to the hardware store. then finally get the frame head jigged up and my mig dont work. Image switch crapped out (kids dont try this at home) so i made the necessary repair and got it welded Image ithink im gonna wait till next weekend to remove the old frame head so i have 2 days just in case

Looking awesome! Wish I had your ambition......tools...space...time.....SKILL!! Your switch fix is something I'd do, strong work!! I'm in east northport, if u even need a hand or someone to drink beer and say mmmmhhh, i have three kids so the excuse to run out for a few hrs is usually welcome.

I'm interested in why you are replacing the framehead, was it rusted out, I couldn't see that in the photo's.

I actually saw Varnish recently at the Rocco's feast in Glen Cove. He still had the bettle, and we just shooting the $hit. He looked good and Def was in a better place.

yeah this car probably should have been crushed. but i wanted to build a bug and had no money.i sold a transmission i had in the garage for the last 25 years for $1100 found the car for $350 used the rest of the money on pans and heater channels. the car has a factory rebuilt engine that runs, has the regi . im a mechanic by trade so the labor is free and i need something to keep me busy. im only using money from things i sell in my garage so it although the price is climbing its all free money for me
Image wow new mig welder in 3 days it took them more than a week to send me 2 cans of primer

Nice. Any idea who actually makes the welder for Eastwood?
I'm curious to see how you like it and how it performs.
