What up B!
Not sure on specs yet. I have get the bus flywheel swapped first and still have two side jobs I need gone before I really play with my cars. I think I have a full set of OEM mounts that are laying around so I might just use that. Also have a spare 2L with IDAs that recently showed up..... If I put that in, It will need some stronger mounts.

Finally.... really want to reswirl the group of VWs in the stable.... this might be one of the cars for sale soon.

I use OE Type 2 grey mounts.

Took her for a ride to get take out on sun night... muuuch better. It's previous clutch chatter was unbearable, and is now gone.

Pass door has always been a B1tch! PO replaced the hinges years ago, just did a not-so- great job.

Saw some flexing in the A post due to no door check strap. Took it apart to clean it up, weld the tear, and realign.

Closes much better now. Ordered some wedges for the door alignment, but the fit is good, and operates smooth.

Also threw some polish at the car, to clean off years of oxidation, and filth.

Takes a little love once in a while to keep them going. I don't know how you can keep up with a fleet, one is sometimes more than I can handle.

I drove the old girl to work last week. Ran great but the pedal got super hard at the end of the 5 miles drive. Drums were dragging and got super hot and smokey. Same story on the way home. It really felt like 'swelled' or collapsed soft lines, but I recently replaced them in 2015, and it was all four.
The only other thing I can thing of is a bad master. Anyone every have this experience? So weird.

When the wheels are locked up crack a brake line at the master and see if the wheel frees up to check the master. Brake hoses commonly cause the issue you have even though they are newer you don't know the quality of parts nowadays.
