Looking real good....Here is a good suggestion....when you are all done with all of the metal work
invest is a couple cans of GIBBS.... After you are done with the paint process of your project.
Drive to an open field and spray down all the inside panels..every where....this will keep any rust issues in check...
Use only after you are done :)

A quick 4 years have past since I last worked on this poor old girl. She was tucked away in the garage and became a table for all my tools while I did the siding on my house. Since I lasted work on it, alot has changed in both my personal and VW life. Kid #2, Dog #2, and off the top of my head at least 7 VW's have arrived, 3 of which remain. One of them is the 74 thing. Given the condition of the 74, I always find myself wondering if I ever would prefer to finish this car, or spend the that time on the ovals or even something else. Also, have had my eyes on a splitty bus for myself, but wanted to make some room before I pulled the trigger.

This weekend, the thing passed hands and was dropped off down south. I put the body back on the pan, and swapped a thing beam back in. All the parts that came off this car, went with it and then some. She is heading to a good home in NC, and I wish her the best of luck.

One door closes another one opens, right? Unless it's a revolving door?

If it was sitting around being used as a workbench rather than a project, it was time. Start up a thread on the new addition and make some headway on it.
