does anyone have a junk dual port engine i could have or borrow? i need to mock up/fabricate an intake manifold for my fuel injection project

i had to grind some tabs off the injectors and hand sand the injector bodies to get them to fit Image Image came out nice Image Image Image

got some AN#6 fittings and cut the step off the inside Image Image Image Image tried to cut off the fuel injector cups from the fuel rails i have and relocate them but that was a mess so time for plan B

heres plan B I had some high pressure fuel lines in my junk pile Image cut the ends off and brought them to work and drilled the threads out to 14mm Image the one on the left is the thin factory one way to thin for me to weld the new ones are beefy Image and here is a mock up of what im shooting for Image.im gonna ask a friend weld it up so it comes out nice

got my intake flanges roughed out Image now just need to sand them to the mark and find my e saw set

had some time today so i made wooden intake flange so i could fine tune it better Image then cut and drilled one from the aluminum rough cuts came out nice Image Image 3 more to go

back n the garage pulled the gas tank Image drilled some holes for electric fuel pump Image going to sandwitch 2 pieces of aluminum with AN6 fittings Image for fuel pump return line and wires

my table of insperation or as my wife calls the shit table Image Image Image

got some time on the bug Image tapped the gas tank to 1/4 pipe Image and plugged the hole for now Image made the bottom plate to sandwich the electric fuel pump onto the gas tank Image Image i just need to weld some aluminum bolts to the bottom plate and weld a support for the fuel pump

back on the fuel tank today Image rusted on bad reseal Image so i did old school clean the tank with bbs and ball bearings. Image Image will wash with gas tomorrow and reseal

got busy today indexed the crank trigger wheel found this sticky tape measure at Hobby Lobby it help me find the center of the missing tooth Image drilled the holes Image Image tapped the threads Image counter sunkthe bolt holes Image will take it apart tomorrow hit it with some brake clean put locktite on the screws and move foward
