She's actually really solid. That's just acne on the nose, with no break through rot.
Did get tapped in the bum, and has a punch over the drivers battery tray.
Love the color!
Time to add to the stable ?
It has Raj written all over it.

It's a members bus, he (and his wife) have two, twin orange buses and a bunch of bikes.
He's not putting a sign on her just yet, but I'd bet if a loving home came and asked they'd be willing to talk.
The 73 is just sleeping over, while a new garage is built. Won't be here too long.

Seriously, I remember seeing this bus up at Allyns long before AoT bought it, and it was BEGGING to be crushed. It's great to see the turn around.

I like the earthy feel the burlap gives. Just seem friendly and inviting. The only other thing I think would look as nice would maybe be some bamboo.

Picked a good to take off and get the headliner done.

Final piece in place just need to trim the loose edges.

This is the view from the rear looking forward. i have the headbanger cabinet ready to go but did not want to rush the project running out of daylight.

Image

Glad that this project is crossed off the list!! there is no rear channel to hold the board up but the headbanger has a contoured shelf divider that will support this piece.

Image

Got a lot of little projects done that always seem to get put off. I don't like the way the stuff in the side cabinet is exposed on the rear side so I made a removal door. I only had the shell for this cabinet so most of it has been modified. There are cleats of the back of the door that rest on the shelves. Both edges have magnetic tape on them to keep it from jumping around.

Yesterday was spent working on the "back" backyard, so today was continuing the interior of the bus. Since I got the bus I only had the PS kickplate in use since the mason board was shot on the DS. Have been driving it with it's belly exposed!! The PS was bad but at least is stayed up. Today was using the scraps of FRP from the headliner to recreate the kickplates.

This is the rear of the PS with the new one I made. I used a black rubberized material as the cover. Had to make some trims to make it fit but a much needed improvement.

Image

PS panel in place. This one was easier since I had the already fitted the DS and used it as a template.

Image

DS in place and the mat got a wash. Even gave the front metal a good wash but there are lots of stains that the purple stuff wouldn't clean off. Have to look for pedal covers are Flanders.

Keeping the momentum going. I removed the wooly insulation and replaced the it with my egg crate choice.

Image

It cleaned up nice and should help with quieting it.

Image

When i did the side walls I ran out of supplies and it has been looking raggy. I cut a piece of board to support the patch and gave it a more finished look. I want to get that electrical box on the lower floor working to get some power.

Image

Things are looking homey!!

I picked up some new hoses from the shroud through the tins. Any one have one of these they can part with (red arrow) and bring to the meeting tomorrow night?
