It's better to refresh your memory than you rely on..... what were we talking about?
Anyone else find it funny that the manual has a green cover?
The Bentley manuals have different colors for different models and range of years so a mechanic can easily find it on a shelf.

Late model Beetles is orange.

Rob, use VHT on the exhaust. I had great luck with it.
You need to follow the curing procedure though.

I tried that once and it didn't work. I probably didn't follow the instructions right :-)

Ordered last night. I figure I'll do it after I get it back. I read on some forums that people let it sit for a few days before they start the engine so I'll apply it on a Sunday and let it sit a few days since I don't usually drive it much during the week

You might want to wait until temps are in the 50s.

What the hell?!
I don't discredit Rob's work... But it is simple to put the bus back on the road when all it needs is a set of heads.
I am relying on many other cogs to make this machine work.
When finished, it will be as beautiful as it is reliable...

Congrats Rob!
I can't wait to have mine back on the road... Hopefully we can relish in our investments and not need to see each other at GT for a while! LOL
