Car is officially back home! Runs like a Swiss watch. Has no interior so it's like driving a tuna can, front suspension is a little stiff. Also slight toe in issue. The shims are set at 1 on top and 5 or 6 on the bottom. I need to correct that and would love a little more adjustability. Tie rods are new. Spindles are new. No other issues at this time. After I figure out the toe in then a wheel alignment is in order. I'd also like to soften the front up a bit. The 1835 purrs, has amazing power and the car really pulls through the 1st 3 gears. The interior is on order and I should be able to start in about 2 weeks. Eventually ill be looking at painting it.

The car still looks the same as above...sorry for the delay I've been busy working on my 73 plymouth. Now it's back to bug work... I had ordered a scat interior and when I got all the pieces I test fit them and the door panels did not fit. They were off by 1/8 of an inch an thus did not recess into the door. I called scat and they were great, they sent a ups tag and I sent them my original panels to copy. I have not yet received then so I'm as a standstill. Plus I have vacation coming up So in time I'll post up and hopefully see y'all soon. Thanks for all the kind words and support.

get a few helpers or at least some good clips to hold it in place while the glue dries. Most of all.. be patient. ( hence why my headliners look like poo)

this is pretty much common place in VW world..... my view. they are small, hence you can have more than one.

Good one! I'll have to try that! I always tell my wife that I have to buy it, it's a great deal and I'll part it out and make a lot of money.
She's still waiting for the big payday!!
