tonight i got the passenger side jack bracket cut/grinded/and beaten down to clear the heater channel

and got the channel bolted down legit with all but 1 bolt the pan will need some grinding

gonna leave the jack bracket as is till i get the channels welded to the body then weld it up nice and clean.

i got the drivers heater channel bolted down after a lot of Oblonging the pan because the the channel bolt holes were off center, it was a pain in the a#$ because they were off in a different direction.

so short of running a new fuel line its time cut whats left of the old heater channels out trim some rusted metel and hang the body back on . im gonna mount it on the 2 pads under the gas tank and each pad in the rear fender area and fill in the voids with 20 gauge sheet metal. i have both side new lower A pillars and a new Right side quarter panel to patch in

I got back in the garage today and started to fill pin holes in the patch I made but just made a mess of it .so I cut out the mess and made another patch panel this time I flanged the patch wear it meets the original metal so I wont burn thru so easy

and punch holes in the body for some spot welds

got it clamped into place and will weld it in tomorrow

the left side quarter panel finally came in so hope fully I start hitting it again
