Another Engine for the collection

So I picked up another 1500cc single port for my 67. This one is a 67 build date Sept/Oct but 68 Model year engine. It's very complete minus a few pieces of engine tin. Lots of original and German bits and very clean. Probably the cleanest VW engine I've ever owned. Got it in a package deal with a complete 68 swing axle tranny drum to drum, a complete 4 lug balljoint front beam and a nice OG 68 two tone 4 lug wheel. Along with a few misc. bits and pieces. When my engine stand adapter comes in I'm gonna pull the tin off, check for nests. Give everything a once over. Lube up the cylinders, adjust the valves, static time it and see if it runs. All evidence so far says it should. And fingers crossed, run well.
