I tagged my nephews on FB, who knows when they'll see it. Is Ridge too far?

Ridge isn't too far... I think I found another set of wheels that could work.

Someone brought up a good point about the wheels...
I would need to remove the same amount from each wheel or risk the sides of the car being uneven and effecting the track or balance (side-side) of the car. So what I may do, is run a slightly smaller diameter wheel on the front, than the rear.
The heavier wheels on the rear would shift the center of mass back a bit which would help the car build more speed at the bottom of the ramp.

I did. Was able to pull a few ideas from them.
Never did get to a lathe, so my wheels are a bit chunky. It does add to weight which means speed but I fear theyre so wide as to have a high level of friction requiring more inertia than the car can overcome before being passed at the point of no return.

In a pinch you could glue a rubber band strip around the wheel. It will ride on the strip alone reducing your contact/friction area but keep the weight.
