The whole social media revolution has led an entire generation of kids to think the rest of the world actually cares what is happening in their lives. They broadcast everything from waking up, to taking a shit, and going back to sleep.
#vanlife is no different and it seems so idyllic... I would love to live that nomadic "vacation" lifestyle, traveling around seeing and doing everything. Heck - I already have the hardest part - THE VAN! (#buslife)
But they completely forget something - it's called responsibility.
How does someone make money to live and fuel their vans if not from the mommy-daddy trust fund?
It isn't possible to survive making and selling hemp key chains at concerts and camp outs...
How do you just walk away from things like school loans?
That article has been shared on my fb wall time and time over in just a few days - and I'm pulling my hair out trying to figure out how in all hell these dirty hippies can do it - and I can't!

Because you never smoked weed. If you did you'd realize being a dirty hippie wannabe is not that hard. During the late 60s and 70s, Dead Heads regularly followed the band, never having a traditional job and still finding a way to earn enough to pay for gas, food and weed.
Mike, you've been corrupted by materialism and consumerism. You have valuable possessions and actually care about the, want to protect them and add to them. Shed your materialistic ball and chain and free your spirit. You need to grow your hair, quit your job, walk away from your things and run naked in a meadow in the rain. (yes, I did laugh after writing this. I also threw up a little)
