Disc brake conversion
Recently bought a 1968 Beetle and want to add disc brakes to the front and rear. Looking for a complete conversion kit. Can anyone recommend a brand, or manufacturer?

I bought mine from TopLine, but IIRC they only sell kits for Supers.
You likely want to look at AirKewld
They are undoubtedly the more custom/pricey option but you get everything you need ready to install - unlike the kids you would buy from CBPerformance, MAMotorworks, or dare I even mention... JcWhitney.

Rear disc look "kewl" but are a waste of money and time.
You have a ball joint front end which means you can install front disc spindles from a Ghia. This is what i did.
I bought used Ghia spindles, German rotors, new calipers, used backing plates, new bearings and hoses. This iwll be much better than buying a kit made with cheap Chinese parts.

i bought my front and rear disc brake kits from Cip1. i think it was under $600 for both kits which is cheaper then drums shoes etc. the fronts come with new rubber brake hoses,the rears you need to fabricate steel lines from the calipers to the rear rubber hoses. replace the rear rubber hoses even if they look good,mine kept the brakes on and turned the rotor cherry red.and the rears have the parking brake built into the caliper and come with new parking brake cables
