Re: Bus Tow Bar
I'll keep you in mind, Raj. Thanks.
After talking to Mike, I'm going to pass on it. Was a 1976 Riviera, but it seems the setup is not what I'm looking for.

Re: Bus Tow Bar
Rob there is a beautiful AC Vanagon for sale in Hicksville. I went to look it over with a friend who knows nothing about VWs.
It has some typical seam rust under the flu vent along with a dent in the same spot. But since it has to be repaired anyway - it's no big deal.
It started, didn't idle well at all but it's obvious that it needed a complete tune. It did run, with no knocks or anything.
The interior is IMMACULATE and everything is there, she's an auto (maybe nice for the Mrs)
Is currently priced just under 9k. She had it listed at 6700 a week ago. I happen to know for fact her son paid 6k for it with inheritance money. He's away at school now and they need to sell it. She has someone telling her it's worthy more than it is - especially seeing as it runs like crap. She had a "friend" come by to try and get it running better last week and now it doesn't start at all. Unfortunately, Tom went down there three times to see it and each time I think he said all the wrong things to say when buying a car. He also thinks he should be in a near perfect car at the near 5k price point.
