Rabbi Jeffrey Myers of Tree of Life was the cantor at my synagogue for 18 years. He was also the principal of the Hebrew school and taught both my kids. He presided over the B'nai Mitzvah of both my kids. He's a personal friend and our families have shared many occasions together.

I am heart broken at the loss of life in Pittsburgh and that he personally witnessed the murder of 7 congregants while they were in prayer. While he was physically uninjured, i'm sure he will never be the same. My G-D give him the strength and insight to help the community heal and rebuild.

Sorry to hear Glenn, My Heart is there for all people affected by by these acts of violence. you never know where and when it will happen, appreciate every day.

Sorry that you are personally affected by another senseless loss of life. This man was well loved by your family and you share many happy memories together. Hopefully the joy he has carried in his heart will help him work towards healing from all this sadness and tragedy. It's is so difficult to hear this story keep repeating and know the devastating consequence to families and friends. Hope things start to change.

I'm at a loss for words. I never know what to say at times like these, but I didn't want to say nothing. My heart goes out to him, to you, and everyone affected.

Whole damn world has gone crazy.

Been crazy busy at my synagogue getting quotes from 3 vendors for a new camera system. I've been complaining that our current system is crap and have been ignored. Suddenly that are all concerned about getting it updated.

They all lost their mind. Told them there's a lot more needs to be done and they better bring their checkbooks.
