Ok, I have progressed into the bifocal zone. I ordered my progressive glasses and should have them next week. Do any of your wear them? What was it like learning to use them?

Happily wearing progressives for about 5 years now...but it took me YEARS to find a doctor to get my prescription right- it was a very frustrating journey (and cost me a lot of $)......had tried several times with different doctors/businesses prior to my current doctor. They shouldn't feel like a fishbowl, make you lightheaded, sick to your stomach or dizzzy- as I did with 3 bad prescriptions from several different optometrist offices prior to my current doctor. I couldn't even walk down a flight of stairs with the original "bad" prescriptions. Was told it was ME...and I had to get used to them...
Couldn't believe how easy it was to wear them when I got a pair of glasses that was "right" for my eyes.
Good luck. You will love them if they are "right" for your eyes.

You'd be better off going to a
ophthalmologist since they are doctors.

yes Glenn and then finding an eyeglass place that is competent enough to cut a lens properly. there are a lot of places that cannot cut lenses properly it's sad
