Thats the weekend of Volksfest in Manheim (formerly Campelltown), so I'll be there that weekend - but Tobay is always said to be a good show.
Just make sure you pre-register, there is usually a LONNNNNNNNG line of cars out on the Ocean Parkway trying to get in.

Tobay was great today, 70 degrees and sunny and a massive turnout. Met a a couple of people from TOC and a couple of unaffiliated VW people. The coolest car there IMO was the 48 Tucker which I will post a picture of when I get a minute, an absolute museum piece .

Manny and I passed by on the Ocean Parkway on our way back from Manheim. We are thinking of stopping in - then we saw the line. Not worth it!
I saw pics of the Tucker, absolutely agree - it doesn’t matter what else was there. I didn’t realize there was one on LI. I stopped at the Swigart museum in Huntingdon, PA last year and saw the Ton Goose and another Tucker that they have there. Fascinating cars. AACA in Hershey had a few on loan a few years back.

I saw some pic on FB. Great to see so many ' new' Air Cooled VW's on LI. Make me maybe to see the hobby and new hobbyists growing!
