Well, back on the road and took a road trip to Bangor Maine !
Drove just under a total of 1000 miles for the trip, it ran great, but I still have some oil leaking from somewhere. (think it's still may be a valve cover leak)
It wasn't alot 1/2 a quart or so, but it sure makes a mess.
Now I have to clean it up, find the leak (hopefully) and move forward.
Looking forward to VOLKSFEST !!

Long story short, was driving out on Montauk and all of a sudden I felt an extra few inches of play come along at the steering wheel. Steering box looks wet but an old wet, so before I go changing that, the drag link looked shot.

Replaced that and no more play AND the Steering wheel is still staight when moving straight ahead.

Always more fun to drive a bay when the steering is good. There was a big difference in my bus after the ball joints and tie rods were replaced. Also had the drag link done and the steering damper. The walled tired helped a lot too.


Keep working at it and it gets done!!
