Well... I actually did some work to the VW.

I was doing a oil change on my wife's Subaru, so I decided to change the oil in the VW since it's been in there for quite a long time.

Pulled the plug, in the strainer plate, out poured clean and green oil. The oil only has 84 miles on it when the car was parked, but it's been a few years. Filled it with 4 quarts of fresh Brad Penn 10W-30.

I also gave the car a "sponge" bath with some 10:1 mix of water and simple green and micro fiber cloth. A clean cloth does slide off but I might give it a coat of wax for some protection.
