First we need to confirm that it is lowered too much and then we need volunteers.

I noticed that while the fenders where off. And it was confirmed watching it go down the road for the first time. Those snubbers are like 3" tall. you could pull them out and see where the car settles. But more than likely it will need to go up a tad.

Well made it back from GT okay. I had a few stalls before it warmed up but after that it idled nice, like music. Got a few things to work on/out now that it's back but that's all part of the plan. And yes volunteers will be needed!! :P

Need some work on the "snubbers" so that my kidneys don't rupture, and the driver window but nothing that will stop me from taking it out on the road.
Looking forward to getting those 'confidence miles" on as GA likes to say so this weekend looks good!
Keep working at it and it gets done!!

There is a tail light and a marker out too. Idle seems a little low also. We spoke about the rear and what needs to be done there. The car needs to pay Her back with some feel good miles. Weather permiting just getting some miles on it to justify all the spending.

more photos, please

obvious advice, but check the fuses for the light issues...simply rotating one of mine made the driver's low-beam work again

Did the rotate the fuse thing. no luck. it was raining like crazy at the time though. Next time. Either that or We'll have to take it up to uncle Leo's place! He is good with old VW's!

Knowing that the rear tail lights are not correct, i'm sure there's some funky wiring that needs to be straightened out. I'm sure it will just take some splicing and butt connectors to fix.
