We have started to remove the wiring harness and wire wheel all attachments between body and heater channels. After break the plan is to ...

Rebuilt top end of motor and installed today. Got it running but sounds like it has a little valve tick. Maybe I have to check valves again. I'll do it in the morning.

my 73 thing. Formerly Raj's

I chose to use plastidip as kind of an experiment. The finish looks pretty nice. Works for a thing. The good thing is, if I don't like it, I can peel off and start over.

important stops in california

I am in San Francisco and tomorrow I am starting my journey down the coast. I will end up in Anaheim. Any vw stops that I need to make on the way down the coast. I am with my whole family so far side tracks probably won't be possible. But if close to rt 1 I may stop.

Anyway, ordered a 67 vert lid from a guy in cali for a "good" price. Well it came today. Looks good from a distance, but as you look a little closer it is obvious ...

door support braces

I figured I would ask, does anyone have those door support braces to use during heater channel replacement on vert bug. They bolt into hinge spots. If anyone does, I would love to borrow, rent, buy them.
Thanks
