I'm referring to the large "WESTFALIA" sticker that goes on the rear/front of the late bay pop tops.
The rear one is pretty obvious- drivers side and the "W" starts about in line with the left side of the hatch glass. http://www.ratwell.com/pages/MyWesty.html
As for the front (on luggage rack), i have seen everything including, logo on drivers side, no logo at all and also logo in the center (?)
does anyone know where its supposed to be and what years?
I just did the 10' paint job on my pop top with rustoleum gloss white enamel paint. rolled on. $50 and a long weekend and done.

Re: "Westfalia" logo sticker placement
The front is not supposed to have a logo at all.
Some sales literature even show the rear without the logos, but the common practice is no logo on front rack.
My bus is not correct in this regard.

Looks good, I have some gel coat that cracked and peeled off the fiberglass that I have to address before I do the same thing, did you have a front end alignment too ?
I'm not an air cooled snob , I like them all !

Re: "Westfalia" logo sticker placement
yeah i have not driven it since i did all the work. First trip will be to the alignment place. I assume its safe to just let a regular shop align it. I had to just eyeball the lengths of the drag link and adjustable tie rod when i put it in so its close to what it was.
I'm content with the roller paint job. will try to wet sand a few lumpy parts. I'm not a good/patient painter and I had to deal with tenants beating out rugs in the yard while i was painting (not kidding). So, you get out of it what you put in.
One thing that concerns me is the bulb type seal from Gowesty for the luggage rack is a tight fit. I hope it drains rainwater well.
