Re: my project 71
got the passenger side done today total brain fart on how todo it. i tried lowering the rear control arm instead of jacking it up. tried to get 2 flats down on the torsion bar but all it did was lift the whole car till it rolled off the jack stands.
so i went for 1 flat and that was schetchy as well. but it went from 9 1/2 inches to 11 in the rear which makes it even with the front. stopped by the local locksmith and got 2 keys made he had the blanks in stock

You know you can take them to a bank that has a change counting machine....
When you take the rolls ,they're gonna open them up and put them in a machine to verify the amount anyway.

they charge 10 percent for the change machine or if you put $100 bucks into an account its free. my bank accepts rolled coin for free so im saving the 10 percent charge. im thinking of getting the Empi 8 spoke wheels anyone ever use them or hear of problems with them?

My Credit Union has a free machine for customers and they have rates higher than commercial banks on all accounts.

Check out your local credit union... they will have better rates and deals.

NEFCU does it for free if you're a member
Better banking because they're not a bank

^^ What Bman said. I work on banking equipment (vaults/drive ups/etc).

I'm in a Credit Union but interest rates now are a joke, you're better off spending it before it depreciates. On vintage VW's of course !
I'm not an air cooled snob , I like them all !
