I did have the transmission replaced at 21k, but they gave me a brand new one and replaced the tranny cooler and lines. In talking to the Subaru rep, they wanted the tranny untouched by the dealer to do fault analysis. They never have problems and that was evident but the fact they had to fly a replacement from Japan since they didn't have another in the country. Other than that it was great. there few a few minor things i didn't like, like the fact you couldn't have am and fm stations on the same screen. And the indicators for the HVAC were hard to see at night and impossible during the day. Both of those, along with some other minor stuff has been corrected. The 2018 is a totally new design. The interior is larger, the engine more powerful and the ride is nicer. The smartphone integration is also better.Tom wrote:I'm actually surprised you bought another one, thought you had issues with the last one. Was kinda expecting an Accord.Good luck with this one !

90% of all Subarus sold in the past 10 years are still on the road.EDNCAROL wrote:Oh yes you can.Reliability is reliability.
Great statistics. But how many cars did they sell in that 10 years compared to other brands? I'm not bashing Subaru. My point is if a car ,truck, suv or a cross over is reliable it's comparable to another vehicles reliability.Glenn wrote:90% of all Subarus sold in the past 10 years are still on the road.EDNCAROL wrote:Oh yes you can.Reliability is reliability.
