Re: JJs 65 resto mod

The car still looks the same as above...sorry for the delay I've been busy working on my 73 plymouth. Now it's back to bug work... I had ordered a scat interior and when I got all the pieces I test fit them and the door panels did not fit. They were off by 1/8 of an inch an thus did not recess into ...

Re: JJs 65 resto mod

Car is officially back home! Runs like a Swiss watch. Has no interior so it's like driving a tuna can, front suspension is a little stiff. Also slight toe in issue. The shims are set at 1 on top and 5 or 6 on the bottom. I need to correct that and would love a little more adjustability. Tie rods are ...

Re: JJs 65 resto mod

Four days of progress and the motor is ready to install, the engine bay has been prepped and detailed. I got sidetracked by having to re-wire the headlights as the previous owner decided a 12v conversion is just changing the battery.....needless to say some wire melted. Soooo im hoping by may it ...

Re: JJs 65 resto mod

I know, this is the time consuming part, the bolting of the pans, etc. Ive already test run and tuned the engine on the stand and its perfect. so now all my attention is on the body and pan. So far all is good. Im going over everything twice, fronto back and back to front...... I hope to be at the ...

Re: JJs 65 resto mod

Thanks . I appreciate it. Guy that built the motor has been drag racing and building drag motors for VWs for a very very long time. I have the utmost confidence in the build. I watched and helped every step of the way so I have no doubts about durability etc.
